Verge Health, the industry’s leading risk management software company for hospitals and health systems, today announced chief executive officer Mark Crockett, MD, will speak at The Future of Healthcare HLTH18 conference being held May 6 – 9 at The Aria in Las Vegas.
The session, Actionable Analytics at the Point of Care, is scheduled Sunday, May 6 from 1:30 – 2:10PM PST and will be a part of the “Health Data: Transforming Data Into Value” track. Dr. Crockett will be joined by Earl Steinberg, MD, MPP, chief executive officer at xG Health Solutions, and William Winkenwerder, Jr., MD, chairman at CitiusTech, to discuss new ways to leverage data analytics to improve outcomes, increase quality, reduce costs, and manage risk. Prad Prassoon, Business Strategist, Emerging Technologies and Strategic Partnerships at the American Heart Association, will moderate the discussion.
“Technology and advanced data and analytics is driving transformation in reducing risk and improving safety on an enterprise basis, something that was impossible just a few years ago,” says Dr. Crockett. “I’m delighted to be a part of this session and to help hospitals and health systems understand how they can power their journey to high reliability.”
In the session, Dr. Crockett will discuss how critical it is for hospitals to strive to become “patient–ready” versus “survey ready” ensuring that from the moment a patient arrives, every system works correctly to ensure outstanding clinical care, impeccable service delivery, and a safe clinical encounter.
